Mixed Salad 8

This is just an example to show you that you can make a salad from literally any fresh ingredients that can be eaten raw and you have to hand. It can be eaten without any dressing, as it is full of flavours or add a Dressing of your choice. Serves 2

Ingredients

  • A few leaves of crisp lettuce

  • 1/4 red onion, peeled and thinly sliced or cut into thin rings

  • 1 carrot, peeled and thinly sliced

  • A few red Radishes, cleaned and cut into halves

  • 1 small tomato

  • Few slices of cucumber

  • 1 stick of celery, cleaned and sliced

  • Couple of fresh peas in the pod, shelled.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix.

  2. Keep in an airtight container, until needed.
