Forum Help

We've made a few improvements to the way you can format your posts on our message board.

Firstly, you can now use normal HTML tags to make parts of your posts bold or italic. To do this, enclose the word(s) you want to make bold with <b>...</b> and for italics, <i>...</i>

So, for example, you could enter your text as <b>bold</b> and <i>italic</i>

Secondly, we've also enabled links. The simplest way to use this is to just enter the address of the website you wish to include a link to, remembering to include the 'http:' part - so, for example, to link to this site you could just enter http://www.mamtaskitchen.com and it would automatically be made a link.

For greater control, you may also use the normal HTML '<a>' tag, which gives more flexibility over the text used for the link. For example, if you entered <a href='http://www.mamtaskitchen.com'>Mamta's Kitchen</a> then the link would appear like this : Mamta's Kitchen

Examples:

Text as entered Appears as
<b>example</b> example
<i>example</i> example
http://www.mamtaskitchen.com www.mamtaskitchen.com
<a href='http://www.mamtaskitchen.com'>example</a> example

Please remember, it's essential that you include the 'http://' part of the address, or your link will not be recognised.
